Distribution Sales Manager
Southeast
SUMMARY
A key position within Company sales department responsible to perform tasks necessary to support established financial and sales goals through the Master Distributor organization and national accounts. Exceptional product knowledge and sales skills are critical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to:
Conduct training and ensure Master Distributor sales force is technically trained on products and how to effectively sell products
Make sales calls with Master Distributor salespeople
Initiate contact with potential customers
Maintain contact with established accounts as assigned but primary focus is on new accounts and business.
Manage / win large regional and national rental accounts and other national accounts in core markets
Win / Manage small regional OEM’s in sales territory
Act as focal point for TBC and MD sales force.
Create/ensure/manage an atmosphere of partnering with the master distributor sales force
Participate in MD meetings as necessary
Roll out and help implement incentive/sales programs with MD sales force
Support business development efforts and dedicated team members in growing RE and Anti-idling volume
Follow quality system procedures
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong communications skills
PC programs – MS word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Willingness to spend more than 40% of your time traveling
Strong written and verbal skills necessary
Enthusiastic team player
Able to work independently
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College degree preferred
Years of Experience = 7+ years of sales and/or sales management experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Proficiency in English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic Math, business finance analysis
REASONING ABILITY
Confront conflict and implement resolutions
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current driver’s license
